She plays as a perimeter player and in defence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BODY\" style=\"margin: 6.7pt 0cm 6.7pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A few days ago she made her first appearance at the Olympic Games in Tokyo with her country's national team. She has also won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships in Guangzhou. In addition, she was part of the team that defeated the perennially undefeated United States by a score of 10-7 at the 2018 FINA Intercontinental Cup. That same year, she was named the Australian League's second-leading scorer with 50 goals in 22 games.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BODY\" style=\"margin: 6.7pt 0cm 6.7pt 0cm;\"><span class=\"STRONG\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">After signing her contract with V.N.C., Amy Ridge said:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">\"I am excited to sign with Vouliagmeni for the new season.
