The World Windsurfing Championships for youth under seventeen years of age were held in Torbole, Italy, between October 20-31, 2021.<\/p>\n
Participations exceeded 300 from 18 countries, confirming once again that this category is the largest in the windsurfing world, especially in a difficult time with many restrictions.<\/p>\n
The championship was a tough test as 15 races were held.<\/p>\n
The V.N.C. athletes were there with their coach, showing a very good presence, promising that in the next race they will be on the podium.<\/p>\n
Danae Anagnostou, who competed in her first international competition, took 7th place in the U13 girls category.<\/p>\n
In the same U13 category, the athletes who recently transferred to our group, Philippos Manakoglou, in 19th place for boys, and Giorgos Apostolidis, in 32nd place.<\/p>\n
Nefeli Anagnostou, after an undesirable start, eventually rose to 20th place.<\/p>\n
The coaches of V.N.C. Kostas Moutsatsos, Alexandros Giakas and Sofoklis Souloutzidakis are very optimistic about their newly formed team and can't wait for the next championship.<\/p>\n
