With great success and high level of competition was completed the 15th International Girls' Water Polo Tournament<\/strong>, dedicated in memory of Akis Tsatalios<\/strong>, who was a native of Vouliagmeni and passed away suddenly on March 10, 2002.<\/p>\n

The event was hosted, as every year, at the swimming pool of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club<\/strong>, with the participation of 8 groups<\/strong> from Greece and abroad, confirming the international character and prestige of the institution.<\/p>\n

The team of V.N.C. won the 2nd place<\/strong>, knowing the defeat in the final by Panionios.<\/p>\n

The final ranking was as follows:<\/p>\n

    After a vote of the coaches of all teams, MVP of the tournament was Eleni Elmisian (N.O. Vouliagmeni)<\/strong>, while Best Goalkeeper Ioanna Voutsika (Panionios G.S.S.)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The president of the Vouliagmeni Yacht Club, Mrs. Stella Lazarou<\/strong>, awarded a commemorative plaque to the family of the late Akis Tsataliou, while the awards to the winners were presented by his wife Pepi Stamnou<\/strong>, his brother George Tsatalios<\/strong> and his sons Nicholas and Michael<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Special thanks to the company ofarmakopiosmou, supporter of the tournament, who offered gifts to all the athletes!<\/p>\n
