V.N.C. announcement on the loss of Alexis Staikopoulos

The Management of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club expresses its deep sadness for the unexpected loss of a young man who grew up within the Club: Alexis Staikopoulos.

A man who was cultivated athletically at the National Olympic Committee, Alexis was actively involved in water polo as a player, participating in the teams of all age categories of Vouliagmeni up to the A1 level.

He became a coach by taking over the infrastructure nursery of Laimos, where he guided many water polo talents from the tender age of the Sports Schools. He led the age group teams to many distinctions, winning multiple titles and championships.

An active, capable and optimistic man whose main characteristic was a warm smile for everyone he met, Alexis leaves a big void in the Vouliagmeni family.
