Description

Children enjoy the sea of Vouliagmeni Bay, the Olympic-size swimming pool, and water sports on the 14 acres of the club's private facilities in the heart of Laimos peninsula.

In the idyllic landscape with the backdrop of Vouliagmeni Bay, the perfectly controlled and safe environment of NOB's facilities is a true paradise for children, who have fun learning water sports alongside their beloved friends.

Children are instructed by trained coaches and team leaders in a wide variety of sports, including Swimming, Water Polo, Sailing, Artistic Swimming, Windsurfing, Wakeboarding, and Waterskiing*, Yoga, Sup, Canoeing, Taekwondo, Archery and many more. Our team leaders, besides being coaches and educators, are world champions and Olympians, for whom the Club is particularly proud.

Special educators also undertake the entertainment and experiential education of children in construction games, artistic, and creative activities.

The Summer Camp of the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni, accompanied by the long tradition of a historic navy club, constitutes a strong stimulus through which children encounter many sports. NOV, holding over 550 medals at national and international level, is the most suitable place for children to discover and later choose the sport that suits them, and they will love.

Moreover, all Camp participants will attend the Safe Swimming Program of the SafeWaterSports organization.

Most importantly, children are in a dreamlike environment right next to nature and the sea with absolute safety, creating new friendships, unique experiences, and unforgettable memories!

Activities

The daily program at the NOV Summer Camp is rich, full of enjoyable adventures, and is posted daily at the Club's Secretariat.

Trained and experienced coaches will make learning water sports enjoyable and offer a delightful experience to our young friends. Children will discover water sports and get closer to athletics.

The Summer Camp is a carefully structured program that combines sports, creative activities, educational programs, and maintains the child's interest. Some of the activities carried out include: Swimming, Water Polo, Sailing, Artistic Swimming, Windsurfing, Yoga, Taekwondo, SUP, Waterski & Wakeboard*, Canoeing, Volleyball, Theater games, Educational programs (First aid, Nutrition, Safe Water Sports), and many more!

*Waterski and wakeboard lessons are provided at an additional cost.

Swimming

Children become familiar with water and learn to swim in a pleasant, fun, and above all safe way. Learning becomes fun in the Olympic-size pool of NOV Vouliagmeni.

Sailing

At the NOV Summer Camp, children learn sailing in the enchanting bay of Vouliagmeni. They come in contact with the boat, the sail, the magic of sailing, and gain new experiences at sea with absolute safety!

Water Polo

Boys and girls learn water polo at NOV. What could be better than learning water polo from the team of champions!

Windsurfing

Children take their first steps in windsurfing and learn to balance on the board.

Artistic Swimming

All girls who want to delve into this wonderful sport that combines grace and strength take artistic swimming lessons.

Waterski

At the NOV Summer Camp, children have the opportunity to learn water skiing. Certified ski instructors will guide the child in the calm waters of the bay of Vouliagmeni. Lessons are provided at an additional cost.

Yoga

Yoga strengthens the child, teaching them to use their muscles in new ways and explaining how they work. Through yoga, the child develops an improved sense of balance, which is a fundamental element of yoga. At the same time, they gain the ability to better coordinate their movements and body extremities.

Archery

One of the main positive elements of archery is the development of concentration and accuracy. Additionally, archery helps develop self-confidence and self-esteem. As the child sees improvement in their performance in the field, they gain confidence in their abilities and trust in themselves. This sense of success can be transferred to other areas of their life.

The scientific supervision, training, and oversight of the dietary program are overseen by Clinical Dietitian - Nutritionist Mr. Haris Georgakakis, well-known for his presence in television, radio, and broader media.

Mr. Georgakakis has 25 years of experience in designing dietary programs for children and athletes. He has participated in major health education programs related to children's nutrition and has served as president of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians - Nutritionists and the Greek Institute of Nutrition for several years.
