Intercollegiate windsurfing competition at the A.O.T.H.A. with one Gold, one Silver and 4 Bronze medals for the V.N.C.

The first windsurfing race for 2020 took place in very bad weather conditions.

On Saturday it was 6 degrees and the wind was reaching 27 knots.

The athletes of V.N.C. stood tall and frozen in the away match, completing 3 races in very good positions.

On the second day, the sun was present but the wind was now gone and so only two races took place.

In the Youth Boys category, Iasonas Kontogiannis won the Bronze medal, Loukas Kontogiannis in the Junior Boys category won the Silver medal and Thanasis Maniadakis came third in Techno Plus.

From our girls' team, in the U17 category, Stella Arvanitis won the Bronze medal and Danae Pontifex won the Bronze in the RSX category, participating with Techno Plus!

Finally and as always, Alexandros Kalpogiannakis was crowned Gold winner in the RSX category.

It is also worth applauding the efforts of athletes Yiannis Vasiloglou, Finneas Zannaras and Haris Lindis, who did not distinguish themselves, but did not hesitate to pass this test surfing among the snowy mountains of Attica.
