A group of the best athletes of the V.N.C. from almost all the aquatic sports practiced by the Club – water polo, artistic swimming, ski & wakeboard, sailing, windsurfing and swimming – join their voices and spread the message.
In this difficult time we are going through, Christos Afroudakis, Olympic Champion and Captain of the Greek National Water Polo Team, calls on Greeks to take personal responsibility and demonstrate responsibility. In this way, we will protect both ourselves and the people we love.
Eleni Xenaki, Captain of the Women's Water Polo Team of the V.N.C. and Member of the National Team, calls on us to protect vulnerable groups, and Kyriakos Pontikeas, Olympic Champion and player of the Men's Water Polo Team of the V.N.C., adds that "we stay home and it doesn't get us down." He calls on us to mobilize our creativity and optimism, since with this energy of ours - by staying home - we will manage to save the world.
Elena Elliniadi, player of the Women's Water Polo Team of the V.N.C. and Member of the National Team, recommends that we take the necessary protective measures for our health by paying attention to our hygiene.
World Ski & Wakeboard Champion Nikolas Plytas continues: he calls on us to only be informed by experts and the Hellenic National Public Health Organization about the latest developments and to follow their instructions.
V.N.C. Artistic Swimming Champion and National Team Member Maria Alzikouzi Kominea reminds us that this is not a vacation. This is a major crisis that humanity is going through and we have a great responsibility to stop it.
