V.N.C. created a Scientific Nutritional Support Team for its athletes

At the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, we place particular emphasis on the comprehensive development of our athletes at all levels: athletic, nutritional and spiritual. Nutrition is one of the important pillars of proper child development and given that proper eating habits are formed from childhood, educating children and adolescents in the standards of proper and balanced nutrition is of crucial importance.

width=In this context, the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club created a Scientific Team for nutritional support – initially – for the athletes of the Water Polo Department, made up of reputable scientists, Clinical Dietitians – Nutritionists. The team has undertaken the task of providing scientific nutritional support to athletes at all age levels of the V.N.C. Sports Academies, offering scientific guidance adapted to the needs of each age.

This initiative is part of the strategy for the development and optimal operation of the Water Polo Sports Academies, under the guidance of the V.N.C. water polo management team. It is another innovation that highlights the fact that V.N.C. embraces the athletic development of children comprehensively.
