Notice of swimming games “Gelateia 2019”

The Vouliagmeni Nautical Club invites you to the swimming races of Competitive-Competitive categories (9-10-11-12 years old) «CELESTIA 2019».

TIME OF THE EVENT

• 25-26 May 2019

HOURS OF CONDUCT

• Morning Saturday and Sunday at 09.00 (Pre-race categories)
• Saturday afternoon and Sunday at 18.00 (Racing categories)
• On Saturday 25 May 2019, before the start of the competition programme, the official start of the games will take place.

RANKING SERIES

• The series of matches in both the Pre-Competition and the Competition will be played in OPEN class final series. Ranking in the results will be done by category.

VENUE

• Open swimming pool of N. O. Vouliagmeni.
• Swimming pool 50 m., 8 lanes.
• Electronic timekeeping.

 

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

FOR THE PRE-COMPETITION CATEGORIES:

• In the 9 years old category: each club is entitled to participate with up to 8 boys and 8 girls in each event and each female athlete up to 2 individual events and up to 1 event per competition section.
• In the category 10-11-12 years old: each club is entitled to participate with 12 athletes for the 50 and 100 meter events in all three categories.

For the 200m events, it has 8 male and 8 female athletes in all three categories.

For the 400m events, it has 4 male and 4 female athletes for both categories.

Each athlete 10 years old has the right to participate in 2 individual events and 1 in each competition section.

Each athlete 11-12 years old has the right to participate in 3 individual events and up to 2 individual events in the competition section.

FOR THE RACING CATEGORIES:

• In the 50-100 meter events, each club can participate with 10 athletes.
• In the 200-meter events with 8 male and 8 female athletes.
• In the 400 freestyle event with 4 male and 4 female athletes.

Each athlete has the right to participate in up to 3 individual events and up to 2 in each competition section.

• No swimmer will be accepted without a valid CoE card.

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE

All clubs of the Southern Group (1st Group) and the clubs that have received an invitation from the Northern Group (2nd Group) and the region and belong to the power of the K.O.E.

DECLARATIONS OF PARTICIPATION

• Final registration to the C.O.E. by Monday at the latest 20 May   2019, tel. 210 9851020, fax. 210 9850964

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The races will be held in accordance with the international regulations, the notice of races of the K.O.E. and this notice. The races will be held in final series regardless of age.

COST OF PARTICIPATION

• 10 EUR per swimmer plus 3 EUR plus 3 EUR fee for the COE (total 13 EUR), the symbolic cost of participation in the races and the total cost for each club will be calculated on the basis of the initial entries submitted to the COE.

ATHLETES' AWARDS

• The first three (3) winners of each event per category will be awarded a medal and a diploma.
• Commemorative trophies (cups) to the three clubs of both the Competitive and the Pre-Competitive with the most victories.
