A native of Vouliagmeni, Andi Melidoni, takes over the reins of the A1 women's water polo team.
A great water polo athlete who has had a brilliant career on the National Team and the Vouliagmeni team. With the colors of the blue and white, she has won a silver Olympic medal in the 2004 games, gold in the World Championships and two silver medals in the Pan-European Championships.
With the Laimos cap, he has won 5 European titles (2 Champions Cups, 2 European Super Cups and 1 Len Trophy) 10 Greek Championships (1993, 1994, 1997, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013) and has been the team's captain since 2001.
Born in Vouliagmeni, Andi Melidoni continued her coaching career by taking over the infrastructure at the V.N.C. Sports Academies, passing on her valuable athletic experience. She also served as Assistant Coach for the National Youth Team.
