The Vouliagmeni Nautical Club was represented in the student parade of the celebration of October 28th with a team of athletes from all sports departments.
The flag bearer was the European Youth Sailing Champion (Laser 4.7) Thanos Kyfidis.
Representatives from the sport of water polo:
- Despina Andreadi, Despina Kalogeropoulou, Stefania Santa, who won the Silver medal at the European Championship with the National Junior Team.
Stamatina Kaiafas, who won the Silver medal at the World Championship with the Junior Women's National Team - Nikos Giannatos, who won the Bronze medal at the European Championship with the National Junior Team.
It is worth noting that three water polo athletes from the V.N.C. Children's team who study at Vouliagmeni High School stood out with their academic excellence and represented their school in the front line of the parade: the flag bearer was Nikos Alevras and the participants were Tasos Giannopoulos and Stathis Milesis.
Nikos, Tasos and Stathis provide the best example that athleticism and academic excellence can be combined with will, balance and hard work.
