The celebration continued in the Club’s hall, where the awards ceremony took place. More than 277 athletes were honored for their successes in international, pan-European and pan-Hellenic events, as well as for the successful combination of sports with their academic achievements. Our celebration was enhanced by the presence of many parents, members and guests, among them the Mayor of Varis Voulas Vouliagmeni Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos, Mrs. Skoulaksenou, President of the Vouliagmeni Municipal Community, the Port Authority of Saronic Ms. Sarli, Mr. Plevris of the Port Police, Mr. Mavrotas, Secretary General of Sports, Mr. Economou, Member of Parliament for East Attica, Mr. Achlatis, Member of the Board of Directors. and representative of the athletes of the EIO and Mr. Avgouleas, Secretary General of the KOE.
The celebration continued with the cutting of the cake, a kind sponsorship of the Karavan Patisserie. In addition, the Aqua Marina Patisserie offered treats to the attendees. These delicious offerings gave the finishing touch to a day full of tradition, sports and community spirit.
With every event and action, the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club confirms its commitment to promoting sports and maritime tradition, while at the same time strengthening the connection with the community and honoring its athletes who continue to achieve and represent the Club with dignity, success and respect in every corner of the world.
