On the occasion of the celebration of Epiphany, ο Vouliagmeni Nautical Club held, as every year, the traditional consecration of the pool water, in the presence of hundreds of athletes, parents and members of the Club.

The festivities continued in the lounge, where the traditional awards for athletes who excelled in the previous year at national and international level took place.

More than 250 athletes were honored both for their competitive successes and for their academic performance, confirming the high level of sportsmanship and education that N.O.B. has always stood for.

The event was attended by official guests, who presented the awards. The event was honoured by the presence of the following: Gregory Constantellos, Mayor of Varis-Voula-Vouliagmeni, George Mavrotas, Secretary General for Sport, Liana Skoulaxenou, President of the Municipal Community of Vouliagmeni, Antonis Kusathanas, Katerina Stampelou, Maria Kanelou, Efthimios Roussakis και Maria Fournaraki, Deputy Mayors, Artemis Sahajian, Delegated Councillor and Vassilis Papamichael, Municipal Councillor.

The athletes of the Club were also awarded, the President of the N.O.B., Mrs. Stella Lazarou, as well as the members of the Board of Directors Mr. Dimitris Tsiklos, Anastasios Kyrpoglou, Renos Velonias, Andreas Leousis, Charalambos Georgakakis, Christos Afroudakis, Konstantinos Karantinos και Lefteris Kousathanas.

After the completion of the awards, the cutting of the New Year's cake followed, courtesy of the Karavan Confectionery, while treats were offered to the attendees by the confectionery Aqua Marina.

With every action, the Vouliagmeni Yacht Club confirms its firm commitment to the promotion of sport and maritime tradition, strengthening its connection with the local community and honoring its athletes, who continue to excel and represent the Club in Greece and internationally.
