“Splash”: The Pre-Mini Boys made their first mission outside of Athens

The young, up-and-coming water polo players of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club in the Pro-Mini category made their first mission outside of Athens, specifically to Loutraki. For a period of four days, two teams of N.O.B.: N.O.B. Red and N.O.B. Blue, left their family home for the first time, to represent the cap of Vouliagmeni, participating in the 13th Water Polo Tournament Pro-Mini "Splash", between March 24-27.

This first mission aimed to allow the children to spend time together, develop their sociability outside of the family and school environment, bond as a team and gain common sporting experiences that unite them. Our young athletes played with passion, gained unique experiences and had the opportunity to compete with teams from abroad.

The NOB Red team competed with Panathinaikos, the Naval Union of Patras NEP, Partizan, Ilysiakos and the Serbian Becej and won the 5th place.th place. Respectively, the team NOV Blue played with ROI, the Academy of Heraklion (Plits Plats), the Nautical Club of Patras NOP, Panathinaikos, and Becej, winning 7th place.

All the children created very special and unique experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime and they loved water polo in Vouliagmeni even more!

Congratulations to all the children, to the coaches Andreas Kontomichalos and Vangelis Litsas, as well as to the referees Margarita Lyritis, Yannis Papazoglou and Yannis Tsirkas for their valuable support.
