The Mini Kids water polo team of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club participated in the 13th International “Splash” Tournament, which is held every year at the sports camp facilities in Loutraki, and won 5th place.
The V.N.C. team defeated Nireas Chalandri, Akadimia Heraklion and Budva from Montenegro in order, managing to emerge first in its group.
In the quarterfinals, they faced the PAOK team, to which they lost 13-8.
Then, for places 5-8, it beat the teams of Chania and Olympiacos in turn, ending its participation in the competition with smiles and lifting the 5th place cup.
The next goal for the children of George Alevizos is the "BEMPIDES - Alexis Staikopoulos" tournament organized by the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club at the Laimos swimming pool in the coming days, specifically from 31/03 to 03/04, to honor the memory of our untimely lost athlete and coach Alexis Staikopoulos.
