Training for the "Bembides" with the Head of Vouliagmeni A1 Christos Afroudakis

In Vouliagmeni we are particularly proud of the "nursery" of our Sports Academies, since our philosophy is to work with our own children from a tender age and create our own athletes. The training process followed by N.C. Vouliagmenis in his Sports Academies combines physical and mental development, offering comprehensive practical and theoretical empowerment.

A very important element is the teaching from the "grown-ups". It is a very common phenomenon for them to "fall" into the water for training with the budding young water polo players, champions of Vouliagmeni, with the aim of the little ones learning from the grown-ups. Our children learning from our own children.

In this context, during the training of the Mini Boys – aged 11-13 – the Captain of the A1 men's water polo team of the National Olympic Committee, Christos Afroudakis, fell into the water. The international water polo player and native of Vouliagmeni, has written a brilliant history in water polo, winning a series of domestic and international distinctions.

Christos' participation in training taught the children the secrets of the sport in practice, while also offering them strong motivation and encouragement to continue their efforts in the sport.

In this way, knowledge, expertise, dedication and love for the sport are transmitted. Not in theory, but in practice.
