The Vouliagmeni Nautical Club received certification that the swimming waters on its shores are crystal clear and meet the strictest quality standards, following a relevant inspection carried out by an independent scientific body.
The Administration, with a high sense of responsibility, as every year, but especially this summer where the Vouliagmeni Marina project has begun, carried out the established analyses for the control of water quality. At the same time, there is communication throughout this period with the Hellenic National Institute of Water Resources and Energy, for any questions and concerns we have regarding the same issue and we thank them particularly for their scientific advice and their friendly attitude towards the V.N.C.
"Athens Analytical Laboratories S.A." took seawater samples at central points of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Group and proceeded with relevant laboratory analyses and a test report.
According to the certificate received by the VNC, the results for the two samples are within the limits set out in J.Y.A. 8600/416/e103, as published in the Official Gazette 356/tB/26-2-2009, in line with Directive 2006/7/EC concerning the quality of bathing beaches.
More specifically, the parameter for coliform bacteria (escherichia coli) and enterococci (intestinal enterococci) yielded almost zero results.
Our Members can enjoy the magical bay of Vouliagmeni and the crystal clear waters of the Group this summer as well.
