With great success and high level of competition was completed the 15th International Girls' Water Polo Tournament, dedicated in memory of Akis Tsatalios, who was a native of Vouliagmeni and passed away suddenly on March 10, 2002.
The event was hosted, as every year, at the swimming pool of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, with the participation of 8 groups from Greece and abroad, confirming the international character and prestige of the institution.
The team of V.N.C. won the 2nd place, knowing the defeat in the final by Panionios.

After a vote of the coaches of all teams, MVP of the tournament was Eleni Elmisian (N.O. Vouliagmeni), while Best Goalkeeper Ioanna Voutsika (Panionios G.S.S.).
The president of the Vouliagmeni Yacht Club, Mrs. Stella Lazarou, awarded a commemorative plaque to the family of the late Akis Tsataliou, while the awards to the winners were presented by his wife Pepi Stamnou, his brother George Tsatalios and his sons Nicholas and Michael.
